How Sensory Play Works

At Curious Steps, we engage the five senses to spark development. From the texture of natural fibers (Touch) and vibrant colors (Sight) to gentle rhythms (Sound), fragrant herbs (Smell), and joyful active (Movement).

Inside a Curious Steps Session

Every session is a thoughtfully curated journey through tactile discovery and wonder for your little one.

Sand & Water Trays

Splashing and pouring to develop fine motor skills and early scientific concepts.

Nature Baskets

Exploring Botswana's natural textures through curated collections of stones, seeds, and wood.

Playdough Lab

Squishing and sculpting with homemade, scented dough to build hand strength and creativity.

Our Play Philosophy

We believe play is how children make sense of the world. By providing rich textures and moments of wonder, we give them a head start on critical thinking and safe exploration in Gaborone.
